Once you have passed your practical driving test, you are eligible to register for the Pass Plus scheme. This course is designed to heighten positive driving.
The 6 hour course consists of the following modules
Module 1 Part 1 Introduction
The importance of driver attitude
Module 1 Part 2 Town Driving
Observation, judgement and awareness
Module 2 All Weather Driving
Covers safe driving in all elements
Module 3 Out of Town Driving and Rural Roads
Discusses differences in skills needed when driving on different types of roads
Module 4 Night Driving
Driving at dusk and dawn
Module 5 Dual Carriageway Driving
Entering and exiting 2 and 3 lane dual carriageways at higher speeds
Module 6 Motorway Driving
Gaining experience of skills needed for motorway driving
Upon successful completion of your 6 hour course, this qualification will lead to a substantial discount in your car insurance from leading insurers. Your Pass Plus instructor can help you with this.
